Same old question...boy or girl? (RIR (?!) and Black Australorp)

These are from Ideal via our local Feed Store and they're supposed to be little girls, but since I'm so new to chickens I'm kinda concerned. They're about 5 weeks old.

I hope they're both girls, but they're home even if they're not.

On the RIR, does it have a Single Comb or a Rose Comb?
If it has a single comb and it is that small then I would say hen..

I am glad you posted this because I have a 7-week-old Australorp from TSC straight-run bin that looks just like yours. I'm hoping for a pullet also!!

And NC Chicken Lover ... I had SUCH a hard time finding pictures of young Australorps, but I see that there's now another thread in this section with pictures of a couple young roos, which helped me feel a lot better about mine being a pullet:
