San Diego Chickens

Hi everyone! I've been on this site numerous times, and always meant to join in so I'd like to introduce myself. I have a 7-month-old Light Brahma, named Potato, and a 8-month old Ameraucana, named T-Rex. They are super cute and make me smile everyday. I garden a lot and thought that chickens would be a great addition to enriching the soil, eating weeds and laying eggs. I grew up with some Rhode Island Reds as a kid, but they were pretty mean. So this site has helped me research for the best chicken breed for me. Anyway, I just wanted to thank you guys for all the tips and advice given on this forum. It's really helped me figure out how to raise these guys!
