Sand in coop

Can this be used in coop floor?

Sure...it says pet litter, so shouldn't have additives (check ingredients just in case).

Be aware that if you have clay soil, adding sand can create cement (my problem). I went bak to pine shavings. I found sand to stagnate in my wet climate and get smelly. Pine holds down smell a lot better in my area.

But this sand should be safe.
