Sandwich bread?

Can u give Chics leftover sandwich bread and if so how often and how much?

My chickens love the butt ends ro sandwich bread. I give it to them whenever I have butt ends. About once a week.

It's treat food, not dinner. So small amounts. Basically, it is wheat, so OK for chickens, but it's not a balanced diet.

Sure, it's OK to give it to them. But no more than what they can clean up in about ten minutes or so. They need to get most of their nutrition from their chick starter.

If you're talking about white bread...there's nothing nutritional about it for human or chicken! But then I feel that way about pasta, most breakfast foods, and sweets too.

Will a little hurt them? No.

All we eat is wheatbread,and wheat pasta, and thanks for all the good info!
