I purchased this olive Egger from the feed store as a pullet at 3-4 days old. I’m now questioning whether she is actually a pullet because the cuckoo marans “pullet” turned out to be a cockerel.
I’m guessing they get there chicks from Hoover since sapphire olive Egger is a Hoover breed. Unfortunately her comb and wattles are very big and red which make me think she might just be a cockerel.
She has a crest and a few feathers on her legs.
When she was a chick she was a solid dark gray.
I’d wager her cross is blue copper marans x CCL
I think they’re about 2.5 months
