Sash windows

Has anyone used new sash windows to make coop windows? I want awning type window. A local building supplier has new plastic frames sash windows for 5 dollars. Has anyone ever used these to make windows that open?

When the deals are great ...... you improvise and make work. $5....... you cant beat that with a stick..
I have installed sample windows, into various applications. SAMPLE WINDOW is just that. A small version encased in a suitcase type holder, a salesperson brings to your home to sell you a whole house set. Can you post a pix of what you are considering? I may have some Ideas up my sleeve to share.
