See what my rooster did to me last Saturday. He got me from behind on my right leg and then came around and got me on my left leg. My husband took me to the hospital for antibiotic shot and some pain meds. I couldn't stand on my left leg by that night, the swelling and pain were pretty bad. The buzzards got a free meal that evening.

Ouchie!! I have a silkoe rooster with hens and momma bird has nine bitties he's super nice to me even comes up to me but not fond of the husband much lol

I use to have a little bantam rooster that chased me whenever I went near the flock. However, he would never cause me any harm.

I've been on the reciving end of those at one time, now i don't know if this will work for all young roosters, but I keep my young rooster around long enough for the older roosters to teach them that other males are who they should fight with. other than that either take a broom to him or a cooking pot.
