As I was hanging out around the fire pit on Saturday night, I heard a scratching sound from the abandoned garage next door. Next thing I know, a pretty large coon came scrambling out of a gap above the doors. :/
I had suspected we had coons around, even though I live in the middle of a city, but seeing him now confirms it. I am sure he(or she) is not alone. *grumble*
Just goes to show you that even living in the city, we still have to be wary of predators. Haven't finished the run/coop yet, but now I KNOW I have to make it predator proof as possible. It was too dark to snap a picture, but he came back about 20 mintues later and went back in the garage.
Any tips for catching? I don't have a Have-a-heart trap. Should I even bother? Call Animal control? Can't go shooting guns off in the backyard either...lol.
