So, I was out visiting my favorite breeder yesterday and saw one of her poor little hens looking like this.
At first I asked her if a recessive gene combination made her a naked hen and then she told me about the mean rooster.
She said the poor girl was attacked and completely plucked by the rooster she was with. I'm not asking for any help in this because this breeder is really great with her hens and separated her from the meany and has her out in the shade. The hen appeared to be happy and was running around like normal. It was just a strange thing to see what appeared at first glance to be "dinner" running around the yard. You know what I mean.
Has anyone seen this before, just out of curiosity?
