Saying hello - any Pekin (cochin) keepers?

P.S., Joanie, there is a discussion with pictures that erupted here earlier this month among keepers of bantam cochins (Pekins). I really didn't know about this chicken until you made me go look it up. There were apparently hauled out of the Forbidden Palace along with those surviving Shih Tzu dogs when the British soldiers stormed in, and brought those charming little animals out to the wider world. My gosh they are adorable!

It's confusing because in the U.S., we have Cochins that are a standard breed (large) chicken as well as these bantam sized beauties which must be a completely independent breed that we have confusingly tagged with the same name.
