Hello everyone, wanted someone who has experienced this kind of concern (or somewhat similar) with their chicks. We recently happened upon this on one of our chicks which is a scab forming on top of it's beak/close to its comb. Is there a cause for concern or will it heal overtime? Is there any recommendation we can follow to help her?

What's going on the neck of the chick, does she have injury there too?

Could be from picking or rubbing the comb against wire. I'd apply a thin layer of triple antibiotic to the comb/scabs to help it heal.
You may find that the chick needs to be separated so the others do not pick at the scabs.
