Hi everyone! I’ve been noticing the scales on my chickens feet for a while now. I’m not sure if this is scaly leg mites?

If it is, I already posted about this, but we don’t have Vaseline. Would childs lice killer work?

Thanks!

I read in another post that coconut oil will work instead of Vaseline and is better for the bird anyway. But it looks like you don’t have anything to worry about.

That's interesting! Melted or hard? I guess it would be possible to rub the hard cube on their legs, but it might be easier to spread it melted?

Looks o.k.
It won't hurt to apply some vaseline or oil to the legs to help keep them smooth and moisturized.
Coconut oil can be used, but personally I prefer Vaseline, it seems to last longer and do a better job. If you are in the US and have a Dollar Store, you can pick up a small tub for around $1-1.50 - it will last a long time.
