I have a new batch of chicks barely coming out from under the brooder plate. Can not get them to understand the nipple waterer so have a quail waterer also. They are obviously thirsty but just don’t seem to get it. Any suggestions? I’ve never had a more docile group of chicks. I’m worried they aren’t drinking enough. Lost one on day one. Today is day two. These were hatchery shipped and hatched 4 days ago. They can’t be cold. The ambient temperature of the room is in the 80s and they have a Brinsea brooder plate to go under.
