scared egg

I know this is not uncommon, but what would cause it to start and seem to be getting worse. I thought I had read this can be hereditary but my leghorns were saying nice eggs and on has started to lay eggs with a lot of scarring. Is there a cause I should be concerned about?

What exactly do you mean by scarring in the eggs? You mean bands on the eggshell?

deep groves and bands, shell is strong but very wavy and groved

Not old , last years chick, other wise healthy looking and acting leghorn
