scared swedish blacks

i have 3 Swedish black ducklings one boy one girl and one really fast one i cant get my hands on to see if it quacks or not, my question is what do i do when they are more afraid of me then of the lawn mower? Ive tried peas, corn, pares (the three chickens i have LOVE pears) but they wont touch anything that comes from my hands, theirs times i think they wouldn't eat their pellets if they saw me put them in their feeder, any ideas on what to try? the people i got them from didn't know how old they are but they are ap 60/40 fuzz, so if any one wants to take a stab at how old they are that would be great
