School started and I'm having withdrawls

Staff started school this week and I'm so tired when I get home I can't read as much as I want on BYC. I have decorated my classroom in "Campbell's Farm" I have pictures of all of my animals. Tonight was Open House and the ones that came into my room LOVED the pics of my chickens. They think the pics of my frizzle polish are the funniest looking things they have ever seen.

Some of the staff thinks I'm crazy for loving my hobby of chickens!!

I hope I can half way keep up with you guys.

I feel your pain. I start back on Monday. I don't just work "day" school but I also work "night" school 12 hour days!!!

I don't get to decorate like you do. Mine are thugs. Really! I'm at an alternative high school. These are the kids you see on the news that get put out of "regular" school for guns, drugs and aggressive behavior.

Hang in there girl. Summer vacation is only 180 days away.(or at least in NC we are in service for 180 days)

I know, I have been out of work for an injury and will go back the 27th. Been out a month and have enjoyed staying up late and all that goes along with not working! Of course with the injury I am very limited in what I can do,the pain for the first two weeks was unbearable and therapy is not fun.
I know I won't be able to keep up but will still check in at some point everyday to read all the interesting post.

I have the frizzled polish too and love seeing everyones reaction when they first seem them lol! Hope the kids are good for you school starts here the 29th

Yep, me too. My room's done. Still have to re-level all my books, though I don't know why I do as they'll be all mixed hither and yon by the second day of kids. Parent open house in tomorrow night and the kids come Wednesday. I'm really looking forward to it on one several levels, but I still have so much that needs to get done at home. Oh well, good thing I'm used to not sleeping much.
