I was at J.R. Moore in Gulf, NC and found an exact duplicate of my favorite, minimum waste feeder.

Notice the deep pan with the inward rolled edge.

These have been hard to find. The newer version doesn't have that rolled edge that keeps the feed from being billed out.

Oh nice I just got 2 that are like that but they hold 30lb of feed.

Aren't they great?

There's almost no waste whatsoever from my other one.

I went with a Folger plastic tub to feed my chickens.

I had been going to buy another of those cheap, plastic 7lb feeders because I have more groups than I have feeders and just not feed them for a couple days if I saw too much feed on the ground, but these are wonderful to have.

It's that deep pan with the inward-rolled edge that makes all the difference.
