I want to put together a scrapbook for Steven of his letters and other things to do with his enlisting and basic training, reserves, etc. Is there somewhere that tells me how to do this? I bought some really nifty stuff like a Fabulous Flair papercrafting block and kit that has an album and some other stuff in it but I've been staring at all of it now for 2 weeks.

There are lots and lots of scrapbooking pages on the net even groups. If you hadnt gotten the stuf already I would say try doing the digital kind. But since you are already there try looking up scrapbook layouts. You will get tons and tons of ideas. Its much easier than you think. I bet once you get started ya wont be able to stop

If there is a scrapbook store in your area, Iam sure they have classes or crops. In which you can bring your stuff and they will help you. Or you can look up layouts on the internet and find something that you like and copy it. Good luck and have fun~ Tacey

hi, would definetly look at your local scrapbook store and see if they offer some sort of class to show you different things on scrapbooking (i.e. micheals or hobby lobby) those could be very helpful

also definetly look at all the website listed above, I am pretty much self taught on scrapbooking, but sometimes I just can not figure something out and websites always helped me figure it out or at least get me another idea for what I was working with.

I do alot of scrapping, whether it be albums or just pages, I also do paperpiecing checkbook covers, tear bears, calenders and anything else i can figure out to do, so if you ever need anything drop me a line on here and I can give you some sort of idea (may even with pics) to help you out

thank

Thanks for the links and the suggestions. I had thought about trying to find a class but I'm just not into driving 50 or so miles to try and show people how inept I am at stuff like this. I put scrapbooking into the search bar and came up with a million different overwhelming links, that's why I asked here and see what happens? Knowledgeable people with just a few links, yeah! Thanks you!!

Glad I could help. Hit me up if you have any other questions or need more links. Ill try and help if I can ~ Good luck it will be great!
