I have five 12 week old hens I,am currently feeding them Start & Grow. Is it OK to give them a couple hands full of scratch everyday along with the Start & Grow.

as long as the pieces aren't to big. if you want put some of the scratch in a blender/processor to chop up any big pieces-they'll be happy chickie babies!

If you sprout it, they will get MUCH MORE food value from it.
The fermented feed thread has good links explaining why they, and WE, need to sprout grains before eating.
I learn more for me when I am researching for my chicks. Things I never would have known.
