Oh yea, 1000s acres, we've had bear, Fisher cat, fox, etc. Coop well secured, mostly supervised free range, always working on the property.

It's a beautiful place. My chickens did free range on 4 acres that included my front yard's beautiful Bermuda grass. It didn't take long for it to look like crap! They are now restricted to 1/4 acre that is not part of the lawn. They call it the "prison yard". Spoiled brats!

Ha! Prison yard! Yea, the girls been getting to the hostas pretty hard. Crazy how they dart into the woods when a hawk is flying around, even when I have food for them.
