Search does not work..why?

Hi,
I tried to search for chicken meetups here in maine and not one result. So I put in just chicken and did a search thinking maybe I did not spell something right. I still do not get any results from the search. Is it just me? Thanks.

Nifty is doing an overhaul on the server, it could be a few days before it's up and running again.
