Searching for South Carolina/North Carolina breeders

Hello everyone !

I am new to this site and I am really hoping to find some breeders from nc and sc. I live on the state line and I'm steadily searching for new chickens. Talk about hen fever!

Welcome from another newbie! I live near Winston Salem and am currently in the midst of researching for starting my first flock hopefully this fall. I am looking at going with Margaret's roost in Gastonia https://www.facebook.com/MargaretsRoost?fref=ts
I haven't heard any reviews, but like the idea that she sells 5-7 week old pullets so we don't have to do the heatlamp brooder thing. But yet are still young enough to get used to us handling. them. I would be interested if anyone has experience in dealing with them though. I also like that she does several different breeds. Hope this helps!
