I have 16 4.5 week olds (2 for sure are roos) and by the calander they "should" start laying around the begining of November. Now since I live in Colorado and it starts to get cooler in October (usually 1st snow arround Halloween) will they start at the calander time or wait until it starts to warm up in the spring? I know nothing is for sure but a bit currious.
Thanks for any and all opinions!

I've read posts either way. I think it depends on multiple factors. Hope they start this fall. It would stink to have to feed an extra 5 or 6 mts. to get eggs. Good Luck

I got my golden comets the end of Sept. They started laying the end of January first of Feb. They were 16 weeks give or take a week. So they started laying right on schedule.
