SEATTLE: RIR Rooster free to a good home

Rhodie, our beloved Rhode Island Red 3.5 month-old chickie, has grown twice the size of our other chickens and has his first lovely green sickle feather. Oh no! Our Rhodie is a rooster! At this stage in his life, he is so sweet, very easy to catch, and loves to be held and petted by our kids.

Free to a loving home in need of a rooster. If you promised to send my kids a picture of Rhodie every once in a while, that would seal the deal! They are devastated that we need to give him away.

You can try posting him on the Washington thread. Also, have you tried craigslist? One of my roosters found a great home via craigslist. He now has six new girlfriends.
