i had 3 hatch on the 14th and 17th -- lost 1 almost immediately -- it looked like it had one of mom's feathers tangled around its leg and she tried to free it and made matters worse -- not good --- If I'd been a little more nosy to see what was going on under her, I might've caught it soon enough to save it (yet another 'chalk it up to experience') -- i let mom and the babies out with dad and aunt/uncle for a little while yesterday because it was the first day we've been above freezing since they hatched .. the video's a little drawn out but i thought I'd post it anyway --- I'm amazed how they seem oblivious to the cold...
