Hi! I’m a new chicken mom. I got two Sebrights not sure how I they came out of a mixed run. One golden and one silver between 6-8 weeks old. At what age can I expect to start seeing the comb to tell if they are roosters or hens? Thanks!

They should be fairly easy to sex not if they are 6/8 weeks old.

Pullets dont get big, red combs and wattles until they are closer to laying. Mine didnt turn red until they were around 16 weeks. I would say anything before 10 weeks could possibly be male.
