Hey y'all, I was wondering if any of y'all had any experience with sebright males. I have a young sebright male chick and a young female, and right now they're best buds. Mainly, because the female is not brave enough to walk around on her own yet. I was wondering how they are in general, and if they get along with other males. We have a male Polish Bantam, and they don't usually interact. We have 22 females, so I hope they don't fight over the girls. But, in general are they docile?? Thanks a bunch!

What an overwhelming response!
I have a roo who is very deferential to all the hens. He’s also silent!

Haha, thanks for your response! The polish turned out female, and my little sebright male was so sweet to the girls. But, my parents hated him because he crowed and because he would occasionally jump on the girls. Never mind the fact he was trying his darndest to protect them against possible threats (i.e. our dogs that he jumped on and attacked -- with good reason, the larger one likes chasing them). So, I had to find a new home. The guy I gave him to says he loves his new ladies and is so sweet to them. Mine had a single comb, but I loved his little beauty and gorgeousness for all he was, haha. I am a dedicated silver sebright lover! Here he is :
