So out of 5 eggs only one Sebright egg hatched. Our Sebright was never fertile in the past. But is this a lower quality Sebright? Or is it a Sebright cross? It also has brown tint on the wings.

It is also with some slight larger chicks that it hatched with from a different breed. Should I take him away so he won't get squished or picked on???

Cute chick!

The chick on the left is a silver Sebright compared to some Red star chicks

Other sebright colors include Buff and Golden

My sebrights are tough little birds, very bossy and can certainly hold their own. My boy was raised with three other bantams and a number of standard birds without a problem. However, he fought so much with our standard breed rooster we ended up having to get rid of him.

As long as it is healthy and not crowded it will be fine with the larger chicks.

It doesn't seem to have the typical sebright chick down pattern but it can be variable so you just have to wait and see how the lacing turns out..

It can also be citron. You get that by breeding a silver and golden together.
