Second Day of NO School!

Today we had a snow day and was totally awesome and now we have one tomorrow!!!

We got probably 10" of snow and the snow goes all the way up to your knees. I had to shovel out all 6 chicken/duck/geese coops just to let the birds outside. It was a total pain

. It was also funny when I let the geese out of their run to free range and after two steps, turned around, and went back into their run probably sayin "heck no we aren't running out in this snow".

Lucky! we have not had 1 snow day yet!

but this week we have a bunch of fun activities going on in the school, like we get to go ski'ing on a field trip!

sounds like fun. when we were in jr. high we went on a school ski trip and it was a ton of fun.

We havent had school since Tuesday and we have tomorrow off to, I wont be suprised if we dont have school Friday...

I work for a school district a few counties north of Midland. Waiting (im)patiently next to the phone for my call from the office ...

Well, friday our high school jazz band is going to play at SVSU ( Saginaw Valley State University) and we are going to be gone from 8 am to 5 pm so me and the rest of the jazz band dont have school on friday either.

What sucks is im just starting tech high school and I just got into the shop I wanted most which is engineering.We have an academic week then a our shop week,and it seems that all the snow days are on our shop weeks

there were two snowdays here too... of course i'm homeschooled this year and i still have to work

thankfully we only lost one day! unlike several of the schols in our area...we will make ours up...OK went from a day count to an hour count because of budget issues...we have plenty of hours but thankfully our superintendent still believes in learning
