So one of my broodys hatched out 3 chicks some days ago. They were bred from a cream crested leghorn and a black rooster, both different breeds.

Now my mum says that her friend says that if the chicks breed with the rooster once they are hens, that there chicks that hatch from their eggs will have problems (two headed chicks and so on) i.e. the chicks well have problems and I should sell or trade them and get more chicks from somewhere else.

Is this all true or is it false ?

This is false, in all my days I have never hatched a two headed chick. I can never reccomend inbreeding, however chickens are never particularly affected by it. I would however, attempt to swap or sell any chicks that you don't get particularly attached too, new blood in a flock is good. So, all in all this is false.
