Hi all,
Were hatching eggs for the 3rd time down in Melbourne, Aus. We set 14 in our Brinsea, eliminated 2 during candling - one infertile and one quitter. The first chick hatched at noon on day 20. 5 hours later we finally had more, then more overnight. They all hatched over the next 24 hours except 2. One of the 2 finally pipped several hours after the last hatch, yesterday afternoon (day 21) and is alive and well.
This poor egg is on day 22 with no pip. No movement, no sounds, nothing. So, I tried the floating test. Please see attached photo, is it viable, or am I just hoping too much? My only worry about continuing on is having my first eggsplosion in my incubator...
Thanks for the assist!
