seed starter mat as heat source

Has anyone tried this in a homemade incubator? First timer here! Seems like this should work. Gonna try it tonight on a test run and see.

Brinsea makes a very expensive contact incubator that works that way. Only difference is their heat source is above the eggs, not below it. I've never heard anyone on here making an incubator like that, but I suppose it's worth a try. Interesting experiment to do. Good luck with it!

really neat i just looked at them,,,, you can buy them with or without the thermostat, do you have one with a thermostat?
