I just recently acquired a Old English Game chick - absolutely adorable. But all I have read about the breed is that they are noisy and can be aggressive - unfortunately two things that I really don't want in a hen.

Anyhow - the person who gave her to me said hers are quite friendly and quiet - so just wanted to poll other keepers out there to see what your experiences have been like.

Thanks for reading!

Don`t worry about it, Chalmen. They can be a little high strung, but they aren`t any more noisy or aggressive than any other chicken. They may rise to the dominant hen position, but most aren`t mean at all. You will probably like her very much.........Pop

Thanks so much - for such a quick reply.

Thing is, I have these super sweet and quiet "pets" my silkie girl and my cochin girl...they are totally my type of chicken... So wasn't sure if adding the Old English Game in the mix would cause a raucus. At the moment she is only a week old...(and the cutest little thing ever) so no cause for worry at this point!

Thanks again!!
