Self Blue Ducks?

I didn't know if ducks could produce self blues. I bought a bunch of ducklings in one of Ideals duck deals and I recieved a big group of blue swedish. One was pale from the start and I thought maybe it was actually a fawn runner. Nobody wanted to buy her for the longest time and I decided to keep her for myself. When her feathers started coming in I kept thinking they were looking lavendar in color. And as more came in it was looking very close to self blue to me. I'm not sure so what does veryone think? If she is do I follow the same general breeding plan for chicken self blues?

Looks Splash to me (the lighter patches and all) but, I don;t know much about ducks.

Splash was my guess too....my splash swedish is almost all white, with darker splotches here and there. A certain way I look at her though, and she has a light blue "tint" to her.

Splash then? Now that I look at the pics I notice the lighter spots on her back and tail. I only really noticed the ones on her chest before where the usual blue swedish marks are. She has real light blue color all over it's almost grey. I'm mostly glad I kept her because this is my first duck in this color.

Muscovies come in a self blue, but I don't know if other breeds do or not.

well i dunno much about ducks, i only know about mine, but that one is beautiful, i wonder if its like the lavender silkie that was such a hot topic
