So, I got this 'hen' a couple of months ago, and I was convinced for a while that it indeed was a she..however, she crowed this morning. .lol..anyways, I had planned to put 'her' under my bantam WCB boy but that's now out of the question.
My question is, is there a difference between a self white and a regular white? This boy has pinkish colored legs, pink skin tone overall (did notice some red wattles coming in today too)..but I'm wondering if the pink tone to his legs gives any indication that he is one type of white or the other (if there is a difference ) and if he's a regular white, is that the same as in other breeds (like a white Silkie hiding a wide range of possibilities in offspring color)..
I hope this makes sense..always sounds better in my head...
