Selling birds

We just started raising birds this year and are having a great time. Our daughter was going to enter birds in 4H. Unfortunately, she will not be able to participate.
Friends have asked if they could purchase 2 birds. We now consider them pets. One of the reasons we started with this adventure is to help with funds for college.
So, how do you part with them? How much is a fair price for them?

Price depends on what kind they are, and your area. If you're having trouble parting with them, keep in mind that sellimg fertile eggs can be more proffitable than just a one time sale, and a turkey hen lays best at 2 years old, so you'd want to keep the females at least.
