Selling ducks...

What is a fair price to ask for healthy 1 yr old female ducks, runners, blue swedish, Khakis, cayugas..... We seem to have grown to quite a large # and need to find new homes but don't know what is a fair price. I have quite a few people interested...

I have only sold a few ducks so far and it is going to depend on your market. I sold a khaki drake and a buff hen pair for $20. If I would have sold them separately, I could have gotten $15 for the hen easy and I would have been lucky to get $5 for the drake.

The khakis and runners if they are laying should get you a really good price. I would start at $20 on those. Not sure about the other breeds...it is going to depend on what the demand is in your area.

$15 - $20 for adults. It really depends on your current market but thats what they are going for now.
