Selling With broken Toe Question?

Hello! I’ve recently decided to sell some of my Modern Game Bantams (Not selling online yet, this is just a question about wether one could be sold or not)
I have a pullet, she is very nicely built, and I would of LOVED to see how she would’ve done at shows, but sadly, she broke her toe around 5 weeks of age, so she never had the chance. But with her genes, and how nicely put together she was, I was thinking she could be a great breeder. Well I don’t have a good rooster for breeding, and I have her momma, who I’m keeping until I do get one (The pullets father died earlier this year)

So, my question is, Can she still be sold at the higher price she earns? Or will people turn up their noses at a high-priced bird with a broken toe?
Thank you!

*This toe is NOT genetic, she was NOT born with it, so there is no defected toe to be passed down to her offspring.

Here’s a picture, the toe is pretty noticeable, but she is happy and healthy, and it doesn’t trouble her in the least. It’s the middle toe of her right foot.(has the yellow band on it)

Wasn’t sure if that was in the right forum or not! Thanks to whoever moved it!

Eventually that toe will fall off. You are asking if she will bring in a high dollar..... :idunno It is up to a buyer to make that decision. You can also just keep her and get a rooster of your choice, and sell the baby chicks if they bring in a good price. I know that these game birds are not very good layers. Having more hens in your possession would increase the potential for more fertile eggs.
WISHING YOU BEST.......................... :highfive:

Thanks! I had no idea it would fall off! Some breaks look as if they will, but she’s had it for almost a year, and it seems strong, so I would of never guessed! Thanks for the insight!

Also, I did think about keeping her, but I’m already close to being maxed out in pen space, and I’m looking to hatch more chicks, hopefully of a different variety as I already have plenty of Birchens!!

I had a cochin some time ago, and she kept breaking toes for some reason. Eventually she pretty much lost most of them. I suspected osteoporosis type of condition but chicken version. The toes would fall off after a break, but not right away. I did not keep a log of when what happened BTW. Even with no toes, she was able to navigate to roost with no problem. :idunno
Her name was Cotton, like King of the Hill---- Hanks dad, because she had short legs to begin with. Later I was contemplating renaming her STUMPY.. :gig
