I do not have problems with predators digging under, but I keep Great Pyrenees LGD and Catahoula hog hunting dogs. You could actually close this coop in with corrugated metal very easily. Check out this link on YouTube from a guy named texas prepper it will show you how to build a coop like this. I will be glad to help you with any questions that you may have.

Thank you for the info! As for your dogs, the Pyrenees is bread for guarding but the catahoula...did you have to specially train your dog to GAURD the chickens instead of hunting them? My two dogs are a lab and golden/husky mix. Smart. sweet, and birds....well....forget it...

They grow up with chickens, the chickens are part of their pack. I am the pack leader. There is no way I could own a pig. They hunt hogs with a vengeance.

Dogs are so funny! My dogs ignore pigs and cows like they are part of the landscape
