Ahhhh! Apparently my internet hosting company finally got on the ball and canceled my account (many days late). I will have to re-post them when I get home and get another host set up, sorry about that!

The pond is still in the same state, except that I have concreted in the 4x4 posts I will use to install the fencing. Its been raining here alot and I spent the one nice day this weekend creating raised bed gardens (2 of 5 of them done... at 12'x4' each). One major problem I discovered with the pond placement is that all of the rain washing off of my driveway gets funneled to that part of the yard. So about 500 pounds of sand that I had put down is now in the pond. I picked up a black corrugated drain pipe that I will be putting in the ground to hopefully funnel off a great deal of that water. Its nice for flushing the pond, but its not so nice for keeping the duckyard waste (read: POO!) from washing in with the new water.

My ducks are just now 3 weeks old. They're getting so big! I would love to have them outside sooner than later (basement is really starting to stink with 8 ducks penned down there all the time), but doubt they'll be ready for outdoors until the end of April. I might be able to start them outside during the day in mid-April (esp if this 80 degree weather pans out!) - so I will finish their run before that time.

I also have my electric net fencing in - 165' of 4' graded netting and a solar controller. This coming weekend should be awesome for working on things outside, if I can get the nephews involved.
