Well, Quakertown, where it's nearly my 1 year anniversary of moving to the COUNTRY ~
when I moved in, my man had 3 rhode island reds who were great layers until early fall, when they were butchered and now await brining in the spare freezer
this weekend a friend offered us some free ducks and said she also had 3 chickens...
turns out one was a rooster, and the only other hen is a little white longhair, maybe angora?
she is adorable and seems to be laughing, and the sound is so sweet. no eggs yet but I figure she is adjusting to the move?
we are seeking to replace the rhode island reds as that's what Alex prefers, so we shall see
as of now, we are enjoying our freebies ~ ducks are pretty cool !
who else we got around our parts?
