separate breeding pens

I am moving next month to a house in the country (25 acres

) and will be building a new coop. I already have a nice coop but its attached to our garage so it can't come with us. Anyway I already have a mixed flock of pets and I have ordered lots more. The new additions I ordered will be for breeding (and pets too!) So I think I'll need to build separate breeding pens in the coop. Does any one have a coop like this or have any ideas?

What I have now:

3 standard hens, 2 bantam hens and 1 bantam rooster, I have a few of last years chicks too but I am selling those and keeping the ones listed above.

What I will have:

I ordered 20 BLR wyandotte chicks straight run from a breeder. I'll probably end up keeping 1 roo and 4-6 hens.

I just ordered 1 dozen wheaten penedesenca eggs that will go in the bator soon. I hope to end up with at least a trio.

I was thinking of keeping the whole flock together for most of the year but only separating them in the spring/summer for breeding. I was thinking that a few small pens for trios would be less expensive to build than three separate coops.

I use community pens for the winter and seperate by breed in the spring. The only place you have to be cautious of doing this is rooster temperment. All you need is one that is over protective and you could lose a lot very quickly. I have been very lucky with this.
