Separating 3 week old peeps

I have some three week old peeps that I would like to sell, but Mama gets very stressed when I try to take them from her. Will it be detrimental to take them too soon? How long should I leave them with her? This is her first clutch and she does not want to let them go...help! Also, how long can I expect it to take her to go broody again?

I would just take the chicks. She will get over it.
