Hi! We have a flock of 4 guineas, 2 males and 2 females, who are daily terrorizing our neighbors. My mom lives put away from neighbors and wants the birds. At some point one or two of them were hit and one doesn’t fly well so she roosts in the hens laying box. She is the one who creates the most noise because she gets left behind and then can’t find the other 3. One of the two males is also disabled and has been since he was a keet, but he can fly and roost and get around well enough.
so my question is, would it be better to keep the injured female and the disabled male and take the other male and female to my moms property, or would it be better to take all four and keep them together? My mom doesn’t have a locked coop, just a structure for them to roost and take shelter.
we also considered just taking the two males, but then I can just imagine the females calling all day for them and that would just defeat the purpose.
thank you for any help!!
