I have 4 week old bantams. 3 OEG and 3 golden Sebrights. I have 2 OEG cockerels. The Sebrights are undetermined. I have one Sebright that keeps chest bumping, chasing, and pecking the other chicks. Last night, it pinned one down and ripped out neck feathers. I know it's young, but is this normal behavior? Should I separate it from the flock? I'm worried it's a little boisterous cockerel and he's just going to get worse with age. Any advice is appreciated!

They are all the same age?
Chest bumping is normal for both genders, picking feathers is pretty normal.
Pinning down and ripping feather is rather extreme, especially if it happens repeatedly.

Crowding can exacerbate aggressive behavior, so make sure they have plenty of room.

If your plans only include one cockerel, this guy might be first on the chopping block.
If your plans include multiple cockerels, another enclosure(s) will probably be needed anyway and might be best to put him in there now.
