So my Rouen duck has gone broody and I was wondering if when the ducklings hatch, if i should separate the male because hes usually pretty aggressive towards people. I really wouldn't want the drake to kill the ducklings. I've read that the drakes have killed the ducklings, but I've also heard stories about drakes being "Fatherly" towards the ducklings. I think i should separate them just to be safe but then I'm afraid that if i put them together after separating them he'll see them as invaders and attack them. I'm really not sure what to do Any advice/experiences?

I would definitely separate your drake from momma and the ducklings to be safe. It's just not worth the risk to see if he would be ok with them or not. Seems to be much more common for them to be very aggressive towards ducklings.

Ok thats what I was thinking, should I reunite them when they're older? O keep them separate forever?

You can introduce them later on when they're about the same size as the adults and better able to defend themselves. It's best if you can keep them separated by just a fence so they can see/hear each other from the beginning so he can slowly get used to the new little ones. Then supervised introductions when they're big enough until you feel confident that everyone is safe and happy together. :)

Thanks that helps a lot!
