Here is my question. I have pullets of every color. Does it really matter what color roo I use? I am assuming the chicks will also hatch in an array of colors? Is there a dominant color?

It absolutely does not matter unless you are selecting for a certain color. One of the many joys of Seramas!

Really doesn't matter there is so many breeders that have a few colors down fit to breed true by crossing to old English yes this include the main breeders the whites have Benny worked on with out old English

Normal genetics rules apply, but they're really varied and unpredictable. Type matters MUCH more than color.

I agree....unless you are trying to work on a color line with already nicely built birds, TYPE is much more important.
Its what makes a serama a Serama!

If you have many colored hens, pick out the ones that are as close to the standard and breed them to the best built roo.

Leave color out until you can get that down. (Just a suggestion!)
