I've got a half Serama (mom) and half Silkie hen and am collecting eggs to try hatching some. I've put a frizzled sizzle in with her. I've recently become obsessed with Serama. Nobody around me has any. :-(

I understand there's nobody around here either

And since they eggs are reportedly difficult to hatch to begin with, I'm really wary of trying shipped eggs. Especially with the going rates. $$$

Although if I do hatch the eggs, they're only be 1/4 Serama.

Probably still be awfully cute, though.

Chickens take on the mothers body type, right?
