I'm excited to share these first eggs.

So, do you think these initial eggs (first eggs laid from the spring hatch) are ready to be incubated if she was kissed by the rooster man?

What is the normal size for these little ones. Some are way smaller than others.

See the pictures of these two.

I was wondering about them being about the size of the quail eggs. I think they're slightly bigger. How big are your quail eggs?

Start collecting eggs after she has laid 4 or 5 eggs previously. This helps to know that her eggs are in good shape and consistent in size.
These are the first ones from my two Serma girls this week. I think they lay about 4 a week.

I somehow remembered with my ADHD to take pics lol. here they are. your eggs are a bit bigger.
I thought they'd be smaller but the smallest one I have is pretty close.

When your quail eggs hatch the babies must be tiny and fragile to hold. I'd be worry about hurting one with my hands just holding one.

Who lays the blue ones? Are those coturnix eggs too?
