Serama for urban homesteading

we don't really plan on showing but really want the pet chicken. my daughter decided on Seramas and we love them. My question is I know they are keeper for pets and show mainly but can they be even slightly useful as Urban farm chicken. she wants them for eggs she also wants to breed them and is prepared for culling roos. the are really the best choice for our long term plans and size of our home and property. two city lots. so can get that the eggs are too small and birds to small to be our sole solution. we are already planning on quail to me these seem perfect to pair with that there eggs are similar so give me extra hens to incubate for me. we are already committed with quail so earring tiny birds and eggs seems fine. we don't really want people here we don't know or we would just sell them.

Not certain that egg production is all that great, but the eggs and extra birds are fine for eating.

lol the produce average of 4 eggs a week but that is the equivalent of 1 normal eggs. lol
